Don't Waste Your Pulpit
I really like this clip - says a lot about ministry of the pulpit... Especially in view of a sermon in my church a couple of weeks ago.
Hi Poon!! How are you keeping! Hope you are doing well too!! Busy period for me coming up - with assignments and all.. I'm sure you are rather familiar with that. Yeah - thought the video was rather cool. The sermon in church - he was a guest speaker and he spoke about talents and stuff.. but went out of context, etc.. LONG story. *cheeky grin. When you coming back next???
i also feel that the church (in general) is trying to keep up to date with current news etc, but SOMETIMES only sometimes, they're going as far as trying to make things interesting just to keep up the numbers in attendance. haha. i'm quite blessed that the EFC i go to here are very grounded and focus largely on Scripture :)
going to meet up with kevin and loh eugene for easter break though! going to hillsong on easter sundy. i wanted to go past two years but kept slipping my mind!
i'm coming baaaack ... not sure actually. 50-50 during the summer. economic situation here not going very well. they're not hiring international graduates. legislation some more :(
