This will be a short post cos I'll be going out for a movie soon(Yay!!!). This morning in chapel, we sang hymns written by Charles Wesley. It instilled in me a further appreciation for both the hymns writer and the hymns that he wrote especially the bit about how he wrote solid theology in his hymns...
Over the past few years, a few of my friends have been encouraging me to write songs. One of them is Ps Wah Lok - he's been a great encourager to me in this area. The last song I wrote is now about 2 years old. Perhaps it's time to attempt to start writing again...
Any suggestions or help are welcomed at this stage. :)

whatever made you think that i did not.. just don't show that side i guess. have a reputation to protect.. :p
You should!!! and Please do!!! It would be great to see churches in Malaysia, that Malaysian Christians are singing songs composed by Malaysians during service. It would help everyone to sing praises, worship God in words and rythem in a way closer to our hearts. Malaysian way, with Malaysian lyrics and Malaysian melody. Then all will know that He is also the God of Malaysia! :) Hm... maybe we should start singing the songs you composed. Let's start in STM.
yes...time to write. it was time for you to start writing again yonks ago.
start writing something more upbeat leh...
yup...and make sure it's theologically correct...hahaha...jangan write songs "to move the hands of God" type ah....

perhaps we can contextualise the songs, like our modern Martin Luther Charles says...the malaysian way...perhaps can use kumpang or rebana...
Hmmm great idea guys.... Any ideas where to get a kompang or rebana? ;)
let's organise a mission trip to Kelantan...and there you will easily find kompang and rebana...
